Independent brands, large prestigious groups...For many months now, the fashion industry has been mobilising in the fight against coronavirus in France and around the world.
Lacoste has unveiled a new commitment to solidarity. Faced with the health crisis, the crocodile brand is launching the "L12.12 Polo Merci", a fashion product whose entire turnover will be donated to numerous associations that have worked in the fight against the virus. This action is in line with Lacoste's commitment to this health crisis: since March, the brand has made more than 200,000 fabric masks in its factories.
The solidarity piece? The iconic Lacoste polo shirt revisited. The brand decided to embroider a red heart (symbol of the generosity and commitment of volunteers) around the famous crocodile on this limited edition polo shirt. Profits from sales of the "L12.12 Thank You Polo" will be donated to the Lacoste Fund (founded in 2020), which supports the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies worldwide.
The "L12.12 Thank You Polo" will be available from May 28, 2020 at the price of 130 euros in a selection of Lacoste boutiques and on lacoste.com.
